Kyiv-listed stocks ended lower on Tuesday (Jan 26) as trading activity on the local market remained subdued. However, market players received the positive news that the attempt of the National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSEC) to revoke the Ukrainian Exchange’s license was nullified by the government. The UX index shed 1.0% yesterday to close at 652 points. Among blue chips, UkrNafta (UNAF) suffered a 4.7% loss to UAH 160 per share on news that the government suspended three of the company’s production licences over the ongoing tax debt dispute.
