Ukrainian sovereigns ended last week with a mixed performance against a background of worsening external sentiments, after Italy’s borrowing costs jumped at an auction of three-­year debt on Thursday (Oct 11). Quotes for Ukraine’s benchmark USD-denominated Eurobonds with maturity in 2021 rose by 1.2% over the week, with the yield finishing at 7.6%/7.5%. On the other hand, medium-term Ukraine-15s edged down by 0.2%, closing at 97.5/98.3 (7.8%/7.4%).
