Quotes for Ukrainian sovereign and, especially, corporate Eurobonds continued to rise at the beginning of 2013 after an outstanding 2012. JP Morgan has reported that Ukrainian sovereigns were the second-best-performing emerging market sovereign bonds in 2012, gaining 25.4%. Over the last week the Avangard-15 corporate issue shot up by 3.1% to 99.0/100.7 (10.4%/9.3%), and Ferrexpo-16s were also notably higher, gaining 1.2% to close at 101.3/102.4 (7.4%/7.0%).
